For our veronica bee power point
Here are the steps we took to make this master piece to happen
We I mean Tim, Aaron, dean, peter went to our computer to start working on our veronica bee power point for school .and to help us with the slide the writer of the book Sarah Boland
Then we made a rough draft of the power point so we could fix up any mistakes we have made on the way to make it to be as good as it can be
Then we made the characters ,veronica ,CAS, Sam and SS are the character in the scene and book which we are doing our slide from
Then we made the actual things ( change the purple people to the real deal) but we all did our different ideas , we could have done lots of things like making them do the running scene. Then we choose the best one to be our animation which was the elevator scene made by Tim and Aaron
Our animation is about the scene when the characters (veronica ,CAS, Sam ) get in trouble by SS and scratch their names in the brick

Hey everyone!
Our group is helping to animate the part with Cas, Veronica, Sam, Katherine and SS, where they are climbing up the tower to graffiti their names on the tower of Lagilla Convent which is on page 195-198.
We had to cover 30cm wire figurines with plasticine and make clothes for them. It was really hard to cover them with plasticine because we had to make the plasticine a colour that looks like their heritage and we had to make it thin enough to be able to still move the figurines around. Making the clothes was also hard because we had to get materials that looked like a school skirt, and colours that looked and sounded like what they did in the book. The funniest thing that happened was when Bianca’s figurines’ head fell off. We had a fun time making these models and we hope the animation looks good!

For this assignment, I am working with Ashley. We are creating things to go inside a shoebox, known as a diorama. We are doing wish 2 which is when Veronica and Susie want to go to the Olympics with their horses. Items that will be included in the box are the following:
The Olympic rings containing photos of the characters inside them, a stitched picture done in long stitch (wish #1), Eb and Maje surrounded by fence, also including a mat with na Olympic torch on it, a ribbon (1st place) and lots of decorations covering the box.
Our method:
1 Collect shoebox
2 Paint box
3 Start long stitch picture
4 Find picture of Olympic rings on the Internet
5 Find photos of characters to go inside the rings
6 Stick rings onto back wall
7 Frame long stitch with coloured paper
8 Add horses and put fence around edges
9 Create ribbon out of material
10 Make mat and add an Olympic torch onto it
11 Add in things to make it look effective

My concept is Veronica’s sixth wish when it’s Christmas day and she wishes to be an only child. The way I am going to do it is this. Get a show box, paint Christmas tree and stick in a picture of Veronica. I’ll decorate the tree with Christmas stuff and have heaps of present just like in the book. I’ll paint the outside of the box bright yellow and also paint a fire place beside the tree. The present I’ll make out of gold and silver paper then I have to put it all together. Veronica is going to be standing next to the Christmas tree having a bubble coming out of her head saying if only I was an only child. I got inspiration from the most important part was when they were having Christmas day in the book. My process is one get the equipment together, paint the inside of the box, 3 make the presents and 4 put it all together.

We are going to make the food fight scene in the music room using clay to make the people throwing the food. I am doing the project with Rohan. It is going to be really good. We are using a box we have painted it black on the outside and the colour of carpet. Concept/idea
I am doing wish 8/9/10. Wish 8 is to not have a Dad. Wish 9 is for her Dad to go away forever. Wish 10 is to be someone else without her problems. I am working with Ashleigh and Kym. We aere working in the group of three because we got the hardest wish of all the wishes.
Process:
First we got a cardboard box and cut the tops of it. We put the bits we cut and put to the inside the box to make 3 different sections. In the first shelf we are going to put the Dad with suitcases to show he is moving out. In the second shelf we are putting pictures of families and cutting out the dad’s faces from the photo, just like what Veronica did in the book to the photos around her house. In the third shelf we are going to use Veronica’s boding and put a different face on it to show she wants to be someone else.

For my project I’ve made a cross stich of Veronica Bee’s wish and the wish is that she wants a world without boys. The reason I chose to make a cross stitch is because cross stitch is something I like doing and can easily do. My method was that I chose my wish and then sketched 3 different sketches until I figured out what to do. My first idea was to stich ‘BOYZ STINK’ then I thought of an aeroplane with boys on it going to the sun. Finally I decided to stich ‘NO BOYZ”.

Well, it’s hard to explain but all of the bad thoughts of Veronica’s try to go to the brain and you have to try to splat them with the paint ball gun. And if there are good thoughts going to the brain you have to put a clover on the good thought. Our idea came from the book when she tries to splat out all her bad thoughts. Some bad thoughts are: about her parents divorcing and Suzie going away to England. Some good thoughts are: her parents get back together and Suzie moves back.
We've typed it all up and drawn pictures so that the game maker knows what we want to happen.

For our project we are doing a jigsaw on veronica bee.
We are using:
.Colored paper
.Scissors
.Glue
.Pictures from the internet.
What we have done is gone on the internet and chosen our pictures printed them off ,gotten our paper anp put our cut out internet pictures onto the colored paper we then got some more colored paper and cut them into little sqaures for our border we then put little pictures of bees onto the little sqaures and pasted them onto the border.
After we have pasted most of it on we then get the 3 large pictures and paste them in the middle of the a2 piece and once it is dry cut into the jigsaw pieces and your done. big grin

For our project for pop-fiction we are doing Veronicas 10 wishes on the leaves of the four leaf clover.
The materials that we have to use are
Wood,
Paint,
A pencil,
Ruler,
Scissors,
Compass,
Texas.
This is related to Veronica Bee because these are the ten wishes Veronica wished for when she found the four leaf clover.
First we went to the technology room (woodwork) to make the four leaf clover and then we painted in green. After that we started to make the wishes we have only done the first 4 wishes but it should be finished in no time. For example one of the wishes she wished for is to have no dad and that is the one that I am doing by drawing their whole family and then crossing out the dad.

For our project on veronica bee we I mean Tim ,dean, Aaron ,peter we are doing a power point. The power point is about the part in the book when they have just been caught in the lunch order situation (mixing up the lunch orders with the students and teachers then they have to carve their names in the brick walls with the other students ) the materials we are using is the computer Powerpoint and Paint . I would have to say the hardest part was working and trying to get every thing working right. And the easiest was creating the elevator scene.

I, myself am working on puzzles and games. I have come up with 2 quizzes.Q. Which To Love Veronica Bee Character Are You?‚ and Q. How Much Do You Know About Veronica Bee?. In 'Which To Love Veronica Bee Character Are You?'‚ there are 4 results. You can either be Suzie, Veronica, Penny or Amy. In 'How Much Do You Know About Veronica Bee?'‚ there are 6 questions each with 3 possible answers to determine whether you were actually paying attention when reading the book.
I shall also be making a report on Melbourne pollution like Veronica.

My part in the magazine is to write up 2 articles about anything to do with the book To love Veronica Bee.
So far I have done my first draft of an article about the race which is written on the very first page of the book and also throughout the first and some of the second chapter.
In the article I have written about how Veronica Bee just beats Raleigh Berry in the race at the start of the book and in the end of the article I did a mini interview with Veronica on how she felt at the end of the race and stuff like that.
I still have to write up another article but I haven’t decided what I want to do my second article on yet but that is what I have to do.
After I’ve finished my articles I’m going to include some photos or pictures and decorate the pages.

About our bumble Web Page Project
In our project we will be creating a web page and on it there will be items that we will make like animations and entry points where you can have your say on what you think might happen in the next 2 books.
In the animation we will be using pg 23 and 24 which is the blood sister scene and we will be using pg 21 which describes the igloo to create it in the animation.
We will need the computer, Kahootz, Microworlds and the Internet.
Getting the animations on to the web page will be the hardest and the easiest will be just designing the web page. Sean and Danny will do the animations and I will do the web site

On page 16 is a description of the blanket. Our blanket is not quiet the same as the first one made, as ours is bigger and better detailed. Ours has black and yellow checks with little bumble bees stitched into the yellow squares with a large 3D bee in the middle of the blanket.

Our blanket is made from black silk and yellow cotton. The easiest part of making our blanket will be sewing the squares together and the hardest part will hand stitching the bees into the yellow squares.
