02/16/2005: "Latrobe SC: VCAL and Year 9's make Rockart!!!"

Ms Stafford's VCAL & Year 9's made rockart, just like how Veronica's friends made rockart for her as a farewell gift on her last day at Yarra Valley High. You can read about that on page 13 of To love Veronica Bee.

HOW'D THEY MAKE THEIR ROCKART?
During class time, each student went out to the schoolyard and found a rock. They brought their rock back into the classroom and painted it with one colour.

They then added eyes, hair and decorations to make the rock look like a portrait of their self.

i thought that at first making rocks would be a bit silly, because our class were in years 11 and 12. but in the end it turned out to be fun.
